This is another awesome resort brought to you by Wyndham. This resort offers a lazy river, hot tub(s), water slide, partially covered swimming pools, new exercise facility, private beach access, laundry, 24 hour front desk, concierge, and vacation planning assistance for things such as spa packages, local attractions, golf, rentals, etc. They also offer an ATM and (with some stays, like ours) a DVD rental package! They have a redbox-like machine on site with tons of movies!
It’s hard for me to say what the rates are since my family are Wyndham owners (it’s based on a points system not dollars)… so I can’t comment on what we paid for the week long stay.
I did go onto their website and for a one bedroom unit it was around $260/night. So it’s in the pricey range of affordability! They do often offer specials – so it’s imperative that if you wish to stay here to keep checking their website for new specials! (Click here for a direct link to their specials page –> SPECIALS)
Charge Cards Accepted
This resort takes all charge cards. We used both Visa and American Express during our stay there and had no problems. Towers on the Grove does take out a $100 deposit at the beginning of the stay to cover any possible damages. You do get that refund back within a week or two after check-out, assuming you incurred no damages.
|Coffee and breakfast on a beautiful morning on the beach!|
Dining: The condos all come with either a kitchenette or a full kitchen so we cooked at the room often. There’s not a whole lot directly near the resort but what is nearby is delicious. Flounders, Basils and Atlantis are all wonderful places to eat and are within walking distance from the resort. Harold’s on the Ocean is also fun! It’s a little bar that offers a full menu and live entertainment till the weeeeee hours of the night!
Entertainment: As far as North Myrtle goes, it’s mostly shopping, beach bumming, and minigolf! But There’s plenty to do nearby if you’re a beach person. Right next door, between the resort and Harold’s is a nifty little watersports shop that offers things like parasailing and banana boat rides. It’s called Aloha Watersports and they generally offer coupons in all the touristy coupon magazines. Ask the front desk for some!
Onsite vacation representatives, area specialists, laundry, concierge, housekeeping (for an extra fee), organized resort activities, 24-hour front desk/security, FAX and computer services, DVD exchange, free parking for guests staying at the resort (not sure about visitors).
Swimming pools and hot tubs, water slide, lazy river, exercise room, picnic and grilling areas and private beach access.
Driving through the hustle and bustle of Ocean Boulevard, one could get lost in all the vibrant hotels and resorts that decorate North Myrtle Beach. Keep going north, out of the noise and blatant tourist traps, and you’ll find the peaceful Towers on the Grove resort. This is another condo-style resort brought to you by the lovely people at Wyndham. The resort is done up in neutral tans and yellows that doesn’t take away from the naturally beautiful ocean surroundings and is refreshing and chic in our modern world. In addition to the updated and numerous condos available, Towers on the Grove offers much to do on-site as well as being close to numerous activities for all ages.
This resort is perfect for both couples, families, and businessmen/women alike! There are many social events for families, spa retreats for couples and business travelers, and gorgeous views from just about anywhere. Though it is away from a lot of the busyness, Towers on the Grove is still a vibrant place with people constantly moving in/out. As with the other Wyndham resorts I’ve stayed at, through all the busy times, the employees are attentive and courteous to all guests.
Security is very prompt and it is imperative to always have your room key and pool pass on you at all times (I found out the hard way) but it is comforting to know that they care so much for the resort and its guests. Staying here was a fantastic option for my new husband and I to experience a relaxing and adventure filled honeymoon.
